Stumbled across THE most beautiful place to walk Biscuit today, and it's only 5 miles away, it's so huge there's no worry about silly out of control off lead dogs as you can see for miles and easily avoid other walkers if needed. Loads of hills and long grass and marshes etc.. literally so beautiful and takes about 4 hours to get around to I've got one very tired pup! Perfect day It's kinda creepy as it's the grounds of an old mental institution, didn't bring my camera but here are a few internet photos

I don't know hahaha I was living in the city centre for ages without a car, but I've made some not so towny friends with cars so we went exploring today and found this place! I'm in love! There's an apartment available for rent in the old institution aswell! Want it!!

Lovely grounds, I kind of like the creepy institution lurking in the background. Weirdly gives it an edge

That's where it is my friend's mum used to work there and has loads of crazy stories to tell about the place I love that sort of stuff though, and if Biscuit gets to run around like a mad thing too then bonus! She was scared of the lake though and tip toed around all of the marsh oh and I had to carry her across an old bridge

glad you have found a great place, if some what creeping, for a good run round.

Apparently two children did actually drown in the lake years and years ago but she'll make me carry her over puddles, she's just a big wuss haha she's stubborn as a mule and I'll be up to my ankles while she's stood at the other side giving me puppy dog eyes! If she gets muddy feet she will sit and give herself a manicure for the next 15 minutes
