Technically speaking a Jaffa cake is a cake. The difference being that when a cake goes stale is goes dry and when a biscuit goes stale it goes soft.

Re: Favourite biscuit?
Okay it goes too far when you start talking about the semantics of biscuits! And you're all mad anyway. Jaffa cakes are disgusting!

Never liked them too much if it was between the chocolate bourbbon and a custard cream for the last in the tin I would take the custard cream

Re: Favourite biscuit?
Last one in the tin is that boring biscuit with flys in it Bourbons are first!

Re: Favourite biscuit?
Not quite what we're talking about, but I remember the canteen in my school, me and my friends used to get to school 30 minutes earlier purely so we could eat the freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies ahhh, they were divine. Then Jamie Oliver appeared with his stupid healthy food and ruined everything.
Anyway, I like chocolate bourbons. Except I can't eat gluten so I have gluten-free ones. I never used to like the proper ones.

its most definitely a cake because you don't pay VAT on it, whereas you would if it was a biscuit
am a simple kinda lass that just likes "nice" biscuits usually the smart price ones if am honest, its one of my guilty pleasures - a whole packet of them, theyr just so small one isnt enough!!

Dave you havent lived, you poor poor unfortunate child.
Go out right now and get a burbon and suck tea with it lol
Guest- Guest
Re: Favourite biscuit?
do you mean dip it in and then suck the tea out of it , so sort of like dunking for lightweights (or people that can only afford 1 biscuit) and avoiding the soggy biscuit at the bottom of the cup (plain digestives are the best dunkers ever btw)
Guest- Guest
Re: Favourite biscuit?
Well the way i do it is dunk it then suck the tea out of the biscuit then devour it....
Guest- Guest
Re: Favourite biscuit?
Timesouts! Bite the ends off, dunk it in the tea and use it as a straw so childish but so good!
