Re: bloody fireworks
Was about to say foster isn't reacting but one proper loud one sounds like it went off about an inch from the window just now.
We both leapt.
Now she's sat bolt upright to attention, staring at the window.
Half tempted to tie some of her turds to a rocket and send it back in the general direction.

Re: bloody fireworks
Percy was doing ok with hearing them from the house, but after he had he tea at 6pm, I popped outside with him for a wee (on lead, as our courtyard isn't secure) and as soon as we got outside 2 bloody big rockets went off right above us, Percy flew round started barking/growling and flew back to the door
He's now curled up under the computer desk, looking very worried. Stupid bloody fireworks x

Re: bloody fireworks
Dempsey couldn't give a toss about fireworks! He's been out for a walk & went past a house with a full on firework display - didn't bat an eyelid, just growled at the cat on the wall!
Don't you have a toilet in your house, then?

Re: bloody fireworks
Went out last night & had to pass the training club I went to with Demps when he was about 5 months old (socialisation, ready for showing him). There were several people with their dogs outside, waiting to go in, all jumping around looking very nervous.
As I was walking along the trainer appeared & looked at Demps. "Do I know you?" he said, approaching Dempsey with his hand out....
"Grrrrrrrrrrrr!" said Dempsey, "Woof, woof, woof!" Couldn't give a monkeys about the fireworks, but really doesn't like strangers approaching him!

Re: bloody fireworks
Why do people stick their hand out and expect a dog to see it as a friendly gesture?
