Here you go Kat , both of them have them but Tommy is wrecking his (like all boys) as he likes to rub down the wall when he's wearing it, they have the collars to match, wash well and are comfy for them

Re: Ezydog Harnasses
They have some really smart stuff like fashion accessories for the pups , leads and stuff , even I didn't mind taking Tilly out when she had her Pink Cammo harness and collar she was like a tough commando girlie , though I didn't think the camouflage would have kept her hidden for long

Ahahaha thanx.. I had a look and it totally stufed me up.. I'm a bad hijacker
So Steff is (OMG) 17 weeks now.. When did you buy these harnesses and what size did you get??
At the moment I have just a cheap generic puppy harness, it fits her but it's not a nice fit, if you know what I mean.. Steff is very thin on hair under her leggs, tummy n chest.. Do your harnesses rub much.. I know you have said previously that Tilly is a bit thin underneath

Let me see ....... It was xmas 2011 when we bought Tilly's first one (Tommy ate it hence it had to be replaced) so she was 5 months and we bought the large and she just fit it (the breastplate was bigger too) , when I replaced it I got her the medium and it's fine but she's not growing any more. We got Tommy the medium as well and the medium collar but he's only just growing into the collar as he is much leaner than Tilly.
What's Steffi in inches around chest and neck and I will compare

It's 1am and Steff is well and truly snoring and farting right now.. I will get out the measure tape in the AM and let you know.. I have looked them up and there are a load of places here that sell them, so I may get the extra benefit of a fitting

Re: Ezydog Harnasses
One thing I did notice was the wide size range in the collars , they don't overlap between sizes very well , Tilly had a large and it was on the smallest adjustment so this time I got a medium and it is fully open so just be careful if you're buying anything with growing room
Just measured Tommy as he is going to be closer to Steffi's size than Tilly he is a medium in both 14 " neck (about -1/+4 " adjustment on collar) and 21.5" chest (about -7 / +6" adjustment on the harness for chest)

Dex has the blue one, I love it it fits him so well and it's a breeze to put on. I have an ezydog lead too and again, love it. Was a relief to finally have some kit we all felt comfy using.

Actually the other week when we went to the staffy walk and they were both tethered to a stool they both got paws out of the front but had took them ages in a wiggle fit as they were so excited, they can't just slip them and I tightened the front straps up after so don't think they will do it again

Re: Ezydog Harnasses
Dave, i remember you saying somewhere previously that Tilly is a bit thin (Hair) underneath? I hope I remember correctly, apologies if I'm wrong.. Do these harnesses rub at all? Steff is very thin and skin sensitive under her front legs, and the cheapo puppy harness she is using now has really irritated her.
Guest- Guest
Re: Ezydog Harnasses
Daresay it will rub , it can't not do really as all harnesses will , but doesn't give her any problems. On average they will both have their harnesses on for 2-3 hours a day and the rest of the time they go naked

Re: Ezydog Harnasses
We have to return the Ezydog harness, no use at all for Rocky. It just keep slipping round when he has his long line on, a real shame.

shame Kathy can't be good for everyone though , probably don't notice as we don't use a long line, do you mean when its side on so its being pulled round ??

Re: Ezydog Harnasses
Have always had an ezydog harness for Bis, and never had a problem, but she went a bit too far and hit the end of her long line on a run the other night and the harness really grazed all under her front legs looks so sore bless her! Looking for a padded one now! Has lasted her a long time before that though, and is a good fit

Re: Ezydog Harnasses
We have been trying the Ezydog harness again with Rocky and we seem to have it sorted now. His other harness had rubbed the hair off his chest and it looks like it is starting to grow back now.
sorry Dave not able to deal with pictures as I am not using my computer at the mo, I somehow managed to fry my CPU, very painful injury but is healing now No longer have access to Lightroom or Photoshop though.

Re: Ezydog Harnasses
Does anyone have a recommendation as to which size to get? Our Aengus is about 9.5 months old and has out grown the Kong harness I bought him. I'd like to go try one on him, but the closest place that sells them is about 50 miles away. I'd obviously like to get him one that I won't have to replace in a couple months. Thanks for any suggestions.

I think Medium will fit most staffys. Mine is 22kg and she has a medium and ti could go bigger so he should not outgrow it!

Re: Ezydog Harnasses
Just bought an ezydog harness for Densil as the mekuti one was causing chafing on the front of his chest. Really struggled to understand how to put it on though! There were no instructions with it and I had to search for a video of it to figure it out. Haven't tried walking him with it yet though so will see how it goes.

Re: Ezydog Harnasses
I will try to explain as best I can how to put on the EzyDog Harness:
Start off with the chest plate facing you with the EzyDog logo facing you and the widest part at the top, then fasten the strap at the top to the clip, where the D ring is.
Your dogs head then goes through the loop this has created, put the chest plate in place on your dogs chest. The second strap then goes under the belly and clips up to the clip again near the D ring.
The straps may need to be adjusted in length to fit. I hope this helps.
Once you have done this a few times you dont need to undo the head loop, just slip it on.

Thanks - this is what I did, although I had to put his leg through one loop. Tried him walking with it today and he still pulls, so didn't work in that respect.

So sorry I must have missed out a step somewhere, sounds right what you did though. If he is still pulling have you thought about trying a canny collar or something similar instead ?

Re: Ezydog Harnasses
Yes, I have entered the competition for the canny collar. I have got a dogmatic collar but he doesn't like it - he shakes when I put it on and when we are out he keeps shaking his head and rolling his head on the grass trying to get it off. Canny Collar was the next thing I was going to try.
