Having read the full article, the phrase maulled to death may be a bit premature.

Doesn't sound like she was actually mauled to death by them, but that their excitability led to it. Still, sad story Sad

I read the story else where that she died of a heart attack BEFORE the dogs touched her.

Definitely sounds like this could have been just unfortunate circumstances. Bloody press w*nkers again, there's no fun in waiting for the full facts before you start spouting is there you bunch of so called journalists.

Hi All i live about 5mins away from where this happened its awful but apparantly the dogs knew the Mum really well she lived next door too her daughter, the press have just jumped in with their bloody prejudice views yet again they don,t even know any of the facts yet, its very very sad but more likely she had a heart attack and we all know dogs react too that they get scared and can even try too revive people, i bet they never print the facts they never seem too such a tragic thing too happen Sad I do know none of her dogs were staffies so if they do report that they were its wrong again!!!

Agreed Dave, nothing to do with Staffies.

BUT - sometimes, only SOMETIMES - there is news about Staffies (rightly or wrongly; personal or media-wide) that is NOT happy, and quite truly I don't think the unhappy stuff should be banned from this site but discussed openly and honestly, as we Staffy people generally do.

Total respect to you Dave, and hoping that only "happy stuff" happens to us all.

I know we can't seriously ban this stuff , but if you hang around long enough (and we really hope you will) you will see the extent of such posts

Dave and Caryll

I know, I know, and nothing can take away from the fact that this poor woman lost her life for whatever reason.

I can't see why this press report was posted on a Staffy website as there was nothing that I could see that referred to Staffies at all.
