Black Patch of Skin?

On one of Loki's paws (one of the white ones) he has this black patch, and I don't think it's always been there. Anyway, I felt it and it feels like normal skin (covered by his fur, just that you could see it through the white), doesn't hurt him or anything. Just seems odd that he'll have a patch of dark skin in an area where his hair is white. Is this normal?

My boy has black pigment patches to his skin that u can just about see thru the White fur on his chest x
U see a lot of White staffys covered in spots of black patches.

Bella has some black patches under the white fur on her chest as well
