Welcome to the Forum if
I'm honest pitbulls are lovely dogs but illegal unless the court allows you to keep
One under certain rules and there are so many that get seized and eventually put to sleep because of accusing dogs of being pitbulls For this reason I wouldn't own one and plaster he or she was a pitbull . As this could result in a dog been put to sleep my personal opinion .

no breed change that much from being a middle size dog to a large dog because some people cross breed pitbull with mastiff doesn't make they new pitbulls come on!!
the American pitbull terrier will always look like the image below
anything large or smaller just not pitbulls

OMG it's call selecting breeding if you breed a staffie with a bull terrier you be lucky to have 2 pup looking the same!! everyone know this foe god sake why am i wasting time with you?
Re: new to the forum.... hello
no dog people say is a fully pedigree actually is a full pedigree because all dogs have been selectivley bred to look how they look some are even inbred i know about selective breading cause i did a year of it at collage an got distinction in it

Re: new to the forum.... hello
APBTs aren't recognised as a breed in the UK (if I'm not mistaken), so you wouldn't even known that Kenzie's mum is a true APBT and not just two dogs mated to create a pitbull type. Not to mention, why would you bother telling everyone you have an APBT when you own her illegally? Doesn't matter if you have her muzzled and etc., you'd have to go through the process to keep her legally, otherwise you'd still get into trouble over it.

I hate to nit-pick, but that second dog isn't an English Bull Terrier, it's a Bull & Terrier. That's the type of dog that the Stafford, the EBT and the Pitbull started from. But it isn't an EBT of any age or time. Hinks bred the EBT much later than that picture shows. Oh, and Hinks's Bull Terriers were all white.

We're not here to criticise but this can certainly take a direction sometimes and all is well that ends well , nothing wrong with a debate.
But to put the record straight this started out because we wanted to point out 1 or 2 things based around BSL and fact is regardless of whether you own a purebred APBT (which is highly highly doubtful) , a cross or just a type (which is 99.95% the case). If you have not been through the register you don't go and shout about it. You cannot assume that just because you've had no problems the dog will be allowed to stay with you and shouting about owning an APBT may well put a death sentence on your best friend.
I notice you didn't attempt to get involved in the discussions

Oh boy, I always thought Pit Bulls were hugh twice the width size of our staffies, how wrong could I be? Granted I know next to nothing about them. Is that why our staffies get confused with being pit types?

Pits certainly are bigger than staffs, but maybe not as big as you think!
Staffs get confused with pits mainly by people who don't really know what either breed looks like!
