Buddy and skid
Thought I would share a few pics of my dads dogs Buddy and Skid (they both have fancy kennel club names, but I can never remember them)
Have had Australian shepards since I was little in the family, there an amazing breed, either as a working dog or pet. Crazy big teddy bears
This is how they started (skid is on the right)
This is buddy now age 10
This is skid age 6
The terrible duo x

Yea, do exactly the same job, but it's with cattle I believe...have the same mentality as a BC but a bigger build, and they don't have a tail, just a stump that still wags like crazy....and likewise about the BC they make great best friends x

Re: Buddy and skid
Not seen a good background or full size pic to judge from they do look a bit big but having said that a BC is more varied in shapes and sizes than a staffy

Re: Buddy and skid
Thanks everyone, they are a lovely breed, have had 5 crazy Aussies in the family upto now and each one has been amazing.
They love a good mud puddle and have such thick fur, drives me dad mad with all the grooming.....can't wait for Percy to meet them at Xmas. It's going to be good fun I think

Re: Buddy and skid
Gorgeous dogs!
They actually have a slightly different temperament to BCs, and they're a fair bit bigger! Not so good with sheep, but great with cattle.
