Flashback..

..to being eight years old and running with my nans dog Patch just now. Took Dexter to the park and it was empty, felt a mad urge to just peg it across the length of the park with Dexter and it was amazing. We were both grinning like loons, and I couldn't stop laughing with happiness, felt like a real bonding moment too. I have had a pretty rubbish couple of days and felt a bit down, thanks to the power of dog I got to feel like a carefree child again. Thank you Dex XXXXXXX

I can always rely on my 2 to give me a smile at the end of a bad day

I run like a loon all the time. i can't walk in my house, i have to run from my room to my bathroom, down the stairs, round the kitchen and from the back door to the stables. never walk them. have to walk down the hall downstairs cause the floor eccos though.

I do the daftest things with Moo, they are amazing

you can see why they use dogs for therapeutic treatment in some patients in hospital, they give you such a sense of well being,calming when you are feeling stressed and make you happy if your feeling down,they'll be your best friend for life

They are incredible, we are all very lucky! It was amazing how it took me back, and definitely therapeutic I feel so much better. You can see why they reckon dog owners live longer healthier lives, our babies do us so much good in a stressful world.

They certainly do have a way of lifting of the blues from your day I know this from experience, dont know what i would do sometimes without Rocky here to cheer me up

Therapeutic for me too, I was feeling constantly down until we got Loki. He just puts a big smile on my face, as do everyone's dogs to dog-lovers

Me and Teddy do mad things as well, like doing our extended walk that has a very muddy patch in the middle. We both look like we have been through a hedge backwards but hey it's huge amounts of fun and clothes can be washed.

When life gets you down, you just need a best friend to make you smile.
And dogs have the gift of making you feel loved and making everything seem just that little bit easier.

Totally agree, and I run around up and down the fields with my Pixee too, crazy or what, its love.

And nothing like our staffies to put a smile on our faces
