dog tag

we are going to get billy a tag, what should we have engraved on it.

some people have said don't put an address, dont put the dogs name and dont put a phone number.

You're Name .. Phone number and i put on my postcode & house no: .. alot of people say dont put the dogs name on because someone could call the dog over etc.

We just put a telephone number on Milly's not sure if we were right.

I just put my name and phone number on it, but now everyone thinks sid is called Steve!!

The law in the UK states that every dog must have an identity tag when out in public. The tag must have the owner's surname, address & phone number (if one is available).

I've never put my dog's name on a tag just in case someone tries to call it by name - it might just go!

Surname and phone number, and thats all I would put.

Molly's has, my surname, my phone number, house number and postcode, she also has a second tag which shows that she is microchipped, both her harness and collar have the microchip tag, just incase she manages to loose her collar.

By law you must have the address on it too, even if it's just the house number & postcode.

wow gosh I didnt think about any of that.
I have Holly's name and my phone number on it...
Sure hope she never gets lost and we never need to use it
