Re: DOG FRIENDLY PUB
Our local is dog friendly, the owners have two cocker spaniels that like to come down and play with the customers and any other dogs that come along. It's great when you find places like that

Cool , love the dog menu We have a couple of really good ones near us. ,
But tell you what if you haven't got it already handy little app for smartphones "Doggie pubs" just put in location or use GPS and it will list all around with a little review.
On the internet I use
http://www.dogfriendlybritain.co.uk/map.asp
or alternatively
http://www.doggiepubs.org.uk/the_pubs.php type in your location and then select map view

Really love the idea, I think Rocky would be all over everyone in the pub though, he does love to say hello to everyone he meets so enthusiastically

Great idea and I love the doggy menu. I don't know of any around here but I'm sure my two would cause havoc in a pub anyway

Re: DOG FRIENDLY PUB
As a fellow North Eastener - might have to give that one a go. Love the idea of a dog menu! Am also loving Olly's fleece - can I ask where you got it?
Re: DOG FRIENDLY PUB
Hi we got Ollys fleece from the grainger market ,the best for staffies are on ebay and they are much cheaper,Olly has allergies and gets a rash on his chest so he has lots of T shirts etc ,we find that it makes him look cuter so we never get any bad reactions from other people,he has a blue and white striped T shirt which looks like a french marines top ,a french trucker who was an ex sailor was wrestling with him on the floor of a bar in france ,people also took photos of him in Brest .There is also a canny pub in tynemouth called the Priory which is dog freindly they give your dog a treat when you get there.

Thanks for that! We took the boys to Flamingo Land with us yesterday and it was rotten weather - they were so well behaved but v. cold by the time we left so I will deffo check out ebay! Also went to the Brandling Villa on Sat and had a great time. Will try out Tynemouth sometime soon
Re: DOG FRIENDLY PUB
Kenny loves the pub too .
Did any1 see that show last night hosted by Richard E Grant. It was about Hotels in America. There was one called "The Barkley", it was a hotel just for dogs. It was brilliant

Re: DOG FRIENDLY PUB
on the hunt for some dog friendly places around here, I was in Spain last week and our friends took their dogs out to all the restaurants we went to. Not sure Ledger would settle down enough as he doesn't like not being the focus of attention but need somewhere suitable to get him used to it and somewhere that does a dog menu would be amazing

I think staffies have a problem in Spain or some parts of it though don't they It was an option for me instead of France until someone posted something about it
