On the way to Ireland....
Debo was really exited in the car,we drove from Folkestone,Kent to Holyhead at night. He could find his place,so when we arrieved at the port he was tired. With broken heart we left him in the car but luckly the nice people let my OH check on him later on. So hope he will be ok. He really didn't like us going

Re: On the way to Ireland....
Hi everyone,he was fine, they let myy OH see him,he was really good. I don't think he slept at all there. He's being funny with his food, after arriving in Dublin we stop to feed him and he didn't want to eat. When we arrived at my family place we tried to feed him same story. My OH's dad gave him some raw meet ( little pieces) ,we tried again in the evening ,still ate a bit and left it. Same story this morning. I think it might be because a)he's in new place, all very exitting; b) my OH kept giving him staff,so now Debo thinks that he doesn't have to eat his food because he wiill get something nice ffrom my OH dad . We told him off today and asked him not to give Debo staff. We will see what happen in the evening.

Re: On the way to Ireland....
Hope you have a nice time! I would love to take lexi on holidays. The ferry from belfast to liverpool allow you to take your dog onto the deck cause its an 8 hour journey. Lexi would be happy enough to sleep lol

Re: On the way to Ireland....
Dont make too much of a fuss it will make him worse. just set his usual dinner down at the usual time then leave and totally ignore the fact that he is or isnt eating it. We worry far too much about our dogs eating, he will be fine. a healthy dog wont starve itself

It would most probably be just the upset of traveling, a different routine. He will eat when he is hungry dont stress too much about it yet.

Re: On the way to Ireland....
He was like that all the time we were in Irleland. He ate a bit then left most of it. But as you said it might be the stress. There were always lots of people around plus kids, what is complytly new for him. We back tonight so hopping he'll come back to him self. He had great time, before we went to Ireland everyone there said how affraid they are of him, when they met him it was love from the first sighn
