I suddenly feel all kinds of classy for sitting alone watching family guy and being at the start of my second bottle of rose

Got in at 9:30pm after my car exploding on the dual carriageway, then set to this bottle, so about two hours.
Have eaten 3 chineses in that time as well.
Expecting dodgy head tomorrow.

Foster dog thinks it's great - I've dropped loads of food on the floor and she's put on about a kilo.

Funnily, I can knock off a bottle of spirits and be ok, but half a dozen pints of cider and I'm legless.

As you've rescued a dog, you deserve to get hammered through alcohol. ><
Just not sure scrumpers would be my first choice.
What's the dissertation subject out of interest?

Study into establishing the optimum temperature breeding range for Acutina Fulcia
Basically I'm looking to what temperature Giant african land snails like to have sex .... they are banned as pets in lots of countries but not here on the assumption they couldn't survive our winter but I've kept snails for 10 years and in times of heating breakage I've known them still to copulate and for eggs to hatch, so the plan is it incubate batches of eggs at temps experienced in the depths of winter and the high of summer and see just how many will hatch and then program this all into a Monte Carlo population simulator along with their average travelling speed ( a massive 50 meters a night) to see if they were introduced in the south east of England could they one establish a colony and two, spread to other parts of the UK ............ I really need to get out more

Re: Whole bottle of Jack Daniels
Interesting dissertation topic - has good potential to get mathematical and be modeled by differential equations.
Could take a probabilistic approach to it too.
I'm hoping to do a PhD in medical statistics related to the study of lungworm in dogs (ironically carried by snails) - think the vet society might fund it.
In the interim though - I've found a bottle of cheap fizzy wine in the back of the cupboard - it even has a plastic "cork" in it.
Fosters is running dry and will be down to distilling the alcohol from cleaning products soon.

My hope is to go into further study into invasive species or if all else fails I'm planning to teach I think I need to switch the heating down as this second bottle of wine appears to be evaporating fast although it could just be the hot sweats I'm having over the thought of the amounts of statistical analysis I'm going to have to do!!!

Feel free to give me a shout if you get stuck with the stats - I guess multivariate analysis over a normal distribution would suffice here.

I'm going shopping for a half dozen one litre bottles tomorrow - helps me study (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it).

If you make it through the one liter bottle and are still sober that would be impressive. I used to drink when I was studying as well. Makes the boring subjects seem more interesting

I think I could do the one litre bottle and remain upright but not in too good a shape.
I drank one litre of whiskey on the head in college about 20 years ago for a bet and am fairly convinced I came very close to dying.

All depends on how fast it's consumed and whether your stomach is empty or not.
