Lightning Computer byte.

Post by Taryn Tue Oct 16 2012, 22:59

so... hmm. i came home to an intresting sight the other day.
the front door of my apartment opens up to look directly onto my desk, where i keep my laptop when i'm not with it in bed or on the sofa. So imagin my shock (and horror mind you) to see that Romeo... darling, honey, baby, snookums....sitting on the desk (no i dea how he got up there)... chewing on my lap top.

oh.. yes, in fact he had a right merry time apparently. i scolded him and he dashed off and hid in his house while i looked at the damage.

The top corners of the screen have been chewed to peices as has one bottom corner near where my wrist normally rests. it so banged up with complete puncture marks and gnawing i was worried it wasnt going to work. Lukcy... for Romeo, it does, it just looks a lot less pretty and apparently now my computer will not sync with my phone or camera... so... no photos from us for a while until i find a way around that.

Little *!

Frosty took a bite out of my thinkpad. Still works fine though. Plus, I use a different computer mostly. Sorry about the casualty!

Oh wow. Least it still works, could have been worse. My laptop is always in my room and Loki isn't in my room, so I don't have that problem. He does enjoy standing on my mum's laptop though, but hers is already dying so it doesn't make a difference Laughing

The thing is I bet he looked so proud when he was doing it , like the cleverest boy ever. Worst thing Tommy has done up to now is the remote controls but he blatantly picks one up in front of you and proudly trots off to his bed with it to destroy Laughing

Chew anything wont they. I guess unless the actual hard drive is damaged that it should work OK. Hope can get it sorted OK.

heres an up date, Romeo managed to climb up to a shelf, and pull down a 150€ makeup brush set. out of a set of 25 brushes, i have 5 left.... i was more angry about that then the computer!
he has just been a monster the last month, i dont know what to do with him. he has so many toys and goes for walks all the time, but he still chews on things... that i have put out of his reach!
