Believe it or not it is an privilege to have a sculpture by Hirst, its not my cup of tea personally but art is a funny thing, very subjective but for this you are paying for a name and a little piece of history. It will certainly generate tourism. People worship him Xx

to tell the truth i think the statue is amazing its art and i think it will really pull in the tourists hurst is worldwide renowned there will be people from all around the globe coming to see it

Well, art is subjective, you're never going to please anyone, but no doubt they thought it was a good move. Not often into sculptures, prefer paintings and photography, but I wouldn't mind because I wouldn't care
