New Dog House question

Hello,
I recently bought my staff a new dog house (for the backyard) but he won't go in. I have a dog crate inside the house and he's used to that one. Any advice? Thank you!

You can try feeding him in it, putting his favorite toys/blanket in it, usually if they don't need to they won't go in it. Lexi has one and she sleeps in it but during the day she won't touch it. I assume your dog lives in so he won't need it reallly. Dogs are odd and lexi often sits out in the rain or under a tree rather than go into her kennel

I can't help, I'm afraid, I've never had a dog live outside.

My dogs live inside, but we do have a kennel outside for when we're out (I don't leave the dogs inside, because they will destroy the house).

Same as what Hayley said. Food and toys should do the trick. Just don't ever try force the issue, let the dog wander into the kennel on its own time.
