chewing..........
noah will be 10 weeks on saturday, he's doing well, but has a major problem with chewing and digging.
to an extent that our garden now looks like a BMX track,
and he's also trying to dig under fences, so i've had part of the garden fenced off just for him , he is now, as i'm
typing chewing great lumps out of this brand new £300 fence, is there some kind of homemade paste/spray i can put on the fence to stop him??

Re: chewing..........
There are a couple of things you can try. One is Vicks Vapour Rub - just smear it all around the areas you don't want chewed. Or you could try chilli powder (nasty stuff!), or the stuff you can buy from the pet stores (bitter apple etc), but I've never found them over effective - they need reapplying a lot!

We got one of these:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Company-Animals-Pet-Corrector-50/dp/B000UCH02O/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1349884874&sr=8-2
As soon as Ralph started chewing or digging we would give this a squirt. It completely distracted him. You have to be quick though - as soon as his teeth touch something he shouldn't, squirt... or those paws start digging!
It really worked for us. Worth a go. Especially works if he can't see you, I would hide behind the door and do it!

Re: chewing..........
I know I shouldn't but
We don't have a garden but Moo has just found out that she can dig when we are out! I would hate to think what my garden would look like if I had one, good luck

Re: chewing..........
Also, can you get him lots of chew toys? We still keep three or so antlers scattered around...I know some members are fond of Stag bars...would shove one in Callie's mouth every time she nibbled something...
Very cute pic in your avatar btw.
