hiya every one my pup is 15 wks old im wanting to change her name she getting use to her name now, if i change it will it confuse her :/. x

For a little while, maybe, but she's so young that she'll pick up on the new name quite quickly. Try saying the name & giving her a treat immediately - do that enough times & she'll look at you when you say her new name!

It will at first, but she'll pick it up easily. We changed our old dog's name when we got him when he was 2 or 3, so at her age it'll be no problem. Just use her name constantly (happy voice, of course), lots of praise and fuss, and she'll get used to it Smile

Since she is so young now would be the right time to do it if you are going to. What are you changing from/to ???

My first started out as Princess (I was young lol), she was soon to be known as Scrumpy, Moo was Missy (at 10mnths) and is now Moo or Shmoo. All in the tone Xx
