Ozzy at 5mths

Hi all,

Well we have had the little fella for 5wks now and thought I would update you all as to how things have been going.

Ozzy has been brilliant with almost everything so far which worries me a little (is he saving it to later on to be a devil)?? He gets on brilliant with everyone that he meets, both kids and adults, gets on brilliant with all other dogs, especially another SBT terrier that we know and hell even gets on most of the time with Scuzzy our ten year old cat.

He is very obedient when out and about and is generally well behaved when at home. He does have a few spells when he decides its time to puff out the chest and go mental. He starts running about the house/garden,in a crazy circuit that involves diving onto one sofa then onto the other before darting off outside whilst trying to steal any shoes,boots or clothing or basically anything that isnt nailed down. (was after a crate of beer the other day).

We take him down the beach quite alot and he seems to be coming round to the idea of getting his feet wet, but he wont entertain the idea of swimming yet.

He is a real stunner. But then again I am completely partial to reds.

The mental episode you described, my old dog used to do that too, even when he was an old, grey dog . He's absolutely gorgeous he'll do well in the photo competitions, I believe.
