Help she's a fair weather urinator
Ok so we thought we had cracked the toilet training thing with Babs..... Anyway now the real wet weather has set in she won't go out and has started doing her toilet in the house.. Any ideas on how we can stop this please. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Re: Help she's a fair weather urinator
Loki used to do this all the time. Whenever it'd rain, he'd wee like an inch from the outside, as if to say he knows where he's meant to go but doesn't want to get wet lol. He also peed in the house today even though he's toilet-trained, just because he couldn't hold it in any longer. As mean as it sounds, just put her outside and don't let her back in until she does something (obviously stay within sight so you can praise her again). She'll learn that the sooner she goes, the sooner she goes back inside.

Mine don't like getting wet paws either, boot mine out in the garden, shut the door they dont come bk in till they have peed.
After a few times the know what is expected.

You just have to grit your teeth & put her out - you'll have to go out as well, though!

Yep Busters going through it also. Stood with his head out of his dog door looking outside at the rain whilst peeing on the door mat!!!!!!! told him off but I think he thought it was a compromise Ha ha.

Must be a Staffie thing, Hiccup was the exact same and in the beginning I would have to go out in the rain with him and cover both of us with an umbrella while he peed. Thankfully now he knows the quicker he pees, the quicker he can come back inside!
