Help!!!!!!!!!!

Please can somebody help me, ive had this little cutie since he was 8 weeks old and was told his mum was english staff and his dad was American. When we bought him wee see him with his mum but was shown pics of his dad but something is bugging me.............. people keep asking what he is cross with, does anyone else think he is cross with anything or just staff??????

You say the father was American? Do you mean American Staffordshire Terrier? If so, then there's your answer - the American Staffordshire Terrier is the registered version of the pit bull. I notice you're in the UK, so I wouldn't go saying his father is an AST as they are banned in this country.

I take it you don't have papers for him?

definitely just a staffy x , and as said by Caryll just avoid the discussion and you'll be fine. Most important is that you train your dog well, he behaves, you get no trouble , simples

Isn't an American Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a American Pit Bull Terrier two completely different breeds?

At least they are over here.

Not really. The AKC refused to register pitbulls, so a group of owners decided to give them a new name - the American Staffordshire Terrier. The AmStaff is registered with the AKC and the pitbull is registered with the UKC (United Kennel Club) but they also have their own register. Some dogs are dual registered - APBT with the UKC and as an AmStaff with the AKC.

He's lovely looking, as above staffy cross. Like any dog, bought up right ge will be awesome and much loved by ppl around u too x
