I haven't used them, but a lot of GSD owners on another forum swear by them - that and the gencon.

We have the canny collar for Rocky, works really well so long as you stick to it

I have used a Canny Collar on Rocky in the past. It works using a pressure and release system, when the dog pulls and pressure is applied, his neck drops down rather than being pulled to the side. When he stops pulling the lead loosens. It's supposed to send an immediate reward signal to him with no pressure if he walks beside me without pulling.
