Sleepy Speechless

Post by Charlene_Frank Tue Sep 18 2012, 16:41

So with having an older brother and two younger brothers I though my patience’s could take anything … until Sunday afternoon. Surprised

Decided I was taken the dogs through to the local Car Boot sale to get them a lot of treats from the dog stall there. Its busy and there are a lot of dogs but everyone’s really friendly and Frank and Tara LOVE going through to it because they know the treats are getting stocked up.

However decided I would treat the OH to a nice roll first so packed the dogs, and us in to the car and we headed off to a little roll shop at the other side of Dundee from me.
Back windows down a little and I nipped in to the shop to get the rolls and Sean come in with me … didn’t think leaving the dogs in the car for 5 minutes would cause so much trouble …

Come out to find some complete junkie with his hand in my car petting Tara on the head …

Rather keen to stick his hand in a car with two dogs in it … I wouldn’t do it regardless of the breed but any way I come out the shop and asked him what he was doing and he started on … THEIR LOVELY DOGS … CAN TELL THIS ONES A STAFFY (referring to Tara) but what’s he??
So I asked him to remove his hand from my car and said they were both Staffys.

He then asked to buy Tara from me … he would go to the bank and get me money and he would take her now … I was so shocked, Sean then piped up to say she wasn’t for sale … the guy then went of for about 5 minutes on about he would look after her and I could get another one … I was getting a little angry but after my OH got a little more aggressive the guys sondered off.

He then came back with his mate (who looked worse then he did) and asked me where I got Tara because he thinks she is his dog who he lost 3 weeks ago!!! And he proceeded to phone the police …
I was hysterical by the time the police arrived, Frank and Tara didn’t know what was going on and they were getting distressed in the back of the car watching some guys shouting at me ...

Ended up phoning my mum and dad to come up … the police arrived and were super nice to me about the whole thing, they don’t suspect for a second Tara wasn’t my dog and I certainly hadn’t stole her! Turns out both guys are know to the police and at local thieves! And the police have a lot of involvement with them but they have never had a dog!!

Some people are just disgusting, can’t even imaging what they would have done with Tara. She’s such a spoilt little doggy now they wouldn’t be able to keep up with her. Lesson learnt about taken the dogs to that part of town!! angry

Needless to say was a long night for those two little dogs of mines with mama wanting lots of cuddles from them!!!

You have to be so careful these days about where you go and what you do, it's unbelievable.

There are certain areas of my town I wouldn't go anywhere near during the day that alone at night, just no way.

Take it as a heads up and a reminder to never leave your dog in the car not even for 5 minutes.

Indeed the world is full of nutters , I personally wouldn't have hung around to let it get that far and just told the first on to **** off long time before he had the opportunity to phone his pal and get him to arrive to, the police could have found you if they wanted to . Shouldn't give the losers the time of day

Omg that would have been scary. Glad it turned out ok. I always wonder what planet people like that are on. I've had people asking to buy Bella or will I give her to them!?! Do they seriously think someone is just going to give up their dog.

I only stayed waiting on our rolls because I didn’t for a second think he would come back let alone bring another t**t with him.

Honestly the more I think about it the angrier I get … when he said he would take care of her... I should have responded with “you clearly can’t even look after your self”

I would never dream of leaving the doggies tied up out side a shop, read to many horror stories about that and although I rarely leave them in the car I honestly didn’t think it would be so much bother.

I kind of live out in a little village and every one know my babies and everyone’s so friendly, I forget that not everywhere is as safe as my area.

All I can say is I’m glad my dogs are safe, they are currently tucked up in bed in a cozy house with food and water out for them all day long while I slave away at work to earn pennies to keep them in the luxuries they deserve!

Ill up load some new photos of the pair of them later tonight, Frank has grown up soo much and Tara is just as beautiful as ever!
