Re: hello everyone
Hiya and welcome from me and Moo, they will stop chewing but you have to help by training and directing there chewing into things they are allowed, frozen carrots or a stuffed kong, or stag bars might help

Hello and welcome from me and the kids
The chewing is down to hard work , the dog and plenty of toys to distract her from it, you can ge a bitter apple spray to discourage certain areas although I've personally never used it.
If its valuable keep it out of her way. FYI apart from stealing a few socks and other items of underwear our youngest is almost 20 weeks and pretty good with only the odd mishap like a case of lager last week taking 2 casualties when I left it on the floor in his range

Re: hello everyone
Welcome no exact age I'm afraid, just tell them no when they chew things they're not meant to, and give them something they can chew on. Your puppy might be teething at this age, or near about, so get plenty of chew toys and stuff.

Re: hello everyone
Hi and welcome.
Callie is a little better about not chewing our things now, at 7 months. Having said that I still don't leave her alone uncrated.
She does really need to chew at certain times during the day--after morning walk, before a nap, etc. Sits down with one of her antlers and goes at it for half an hour. It's pretty impressive.

Re: hello everyone
Hello and welcome from me and Tyson. Like Dave says, it does require effort. As a matter of course, everything of value was put out of reach since my boy arrived. Then suddenly, you realise that you have left your good shoes on the floor and they are still there untouched. Miracle! did I mention that this may only occur after about 18 months?
