Steroid gym

my wee father just took me down the shops to get some red stripe the people i used to hang around are at the prison gym they all got muscle on muscle and on muscle now these lads been skinny for most of there life they must be using steroids they say they don't but i don't believe them... they they get to 40/50 or whaen they pack it up it all going turn into fat! me what I'm doing it get fitter so when I'm older it's not just going turn fat!

I just got fat at a younger age so nobody notices the difference

Muscle doesn't turn into fat. It just decreases in size if it's not used and the fat goes on top making people look even fatter.

Depends on if a person is doing it healthy or not if it turns to fat. If done properly and with a healthy diet it won't turn to fat. Most people that do are ones that continue the higher caloric intake after they stop working out intensely and that is what turns to fat, not the muscle. Might be telling the truth though and not using roids. I've been accused of it myself, but I have never done it and never will. But then again, I was never scrawny...

J beat me to it .. muscle dosent actually turn into fat ... its a biological impossibility ... as he said, it shrinks (pretty quickly if not used at all) and gets replaced by, or covered with body fat.

Know what ya mean Steve, I used to live in the gym yrs back, was fanatical about my diet/protein intake, and did quite well TBH ... but then I saw an old mate that was on the roids and it did my head in ... he was huge in 12 mths .... glad I didnt go down that road now tho

I've been tested quite a few times. Way too unhealthy in most instances though. Although done correctly to reduce recovery time or to regenerate cartligage growth I have no issues with it.
