New friend in the park :)

Ledger made a new friend this morning a gorgeous black newfoundland pup. Well I say pup, he is just 3 months and bigger than Ledger! His owner was saying she already has a bulldog but he isn't too happy with the fearless bundle of puppiness so it separate walks etc and she is being kept on her toes at home and she is struggling to socialise him as most dogs aren't happy with a pouncy puppy and he is so big for playing with other pups.

Well Ledger isn't the happiest around pouncy dogs but he was very good with this one, just one grumble when it tried to put its paw around his neck but they both approached again and were happy enough

Glad he made a new friend I kind of have that problem with Loki around the small breed dogs; he was so exciteable and wanted to play, out of nowhere he'd slap them across the face he's settled down a bit now though. There was a Newfoundland puppy in our puppy classes too, they are huge.

Can only imagine what a newfie puppy is like. We know several adults.

Well done Ledger always good to make new friends.

My brother had a Newfoundland dog who sadly passed away a couple of years ago, he was such a big softy.
