ahhh bless her, hope they can find a new forever home for her soon. i'm sure she will be OK in a little while and with some good food inside her.

She is like Cyril and Ellie was when I first got them, my foster boy Jethro wasn't much better either. As long as there is no other health problem, there was with Ellie, she will be fine.
Feeding a dog like Penny is difficult, you want to push as much food in as you can but that will kill the dog, you have to step back and give very small meals, 4, 5 or 6 very small meals a day. At first it looks like the dog isn't putting weight on, this can be a very hard time on us, the dog puts weight on their insides first so it doesn't show. It takes about 2 weeks plus before we see an improvement in the dog.
No exercise at first either, the dog is not strong enough, Cyril didn't get walked for 3 weeks, he wasn't strong enough, then it was 5 minutes only which gradually extended.
If she lived close enough I could have fostered her.
