New member!
Hi everyone! My name is Cara, i live in Birmingham! I have a beautiful staffy called Kye, this is my first dog and will be 2yrs in november.
Kye has been having problems with his paws, his been getting spots inbetween his toes and every since a young puppy he has been on numerous amounts of medications from the vets.
Im thinking of paying over £400.00 for the vet to remove and carry out tests on the spots.
Before i do so have any of you owners experienced this yourselves and if so can you offer me any advice.
Many thanks

Hi & welcome.
Has the vet actually said what these 'spots' are? Are they interdigital cysts?

Could you not claim for the treatment on the insurance, if you have it ?

Re: New member!
Hi! my insurance wont pay because there were small signs of this when he was a pup, which cleared up straight away from a small persciption of antibiotics. {while insurance was being accepted some simular traces, not the same! were found, so this is their reasoning to not paying!}
Ive googled the interdigital cysts and some of the pictures look very simular to kyes {not the very severe cases}
Ive been to, two different vet practises and 3different vets, all have said they THINK its an allergic reaction to outside grass, pollen, food and endless other things they have meansioned. Which has left me more clueless!
Ive got two options they have advised
1# to get them cut out and tested for tumour/cancer.
2# to have them cut out and tested on all outside/inside panel.
My thought train is to do both because i want answers/cure so this is not ongoing throughout his life.
Thank you all for your comments
