Hello
Hi, I have 5 dogs at the moment, Cyril my Staffy who I got from a pound, he was very emanciated when the Dog Warden found him, he had nearly starved to death. Cyril is not fit and well, a big pain in the butt, but is getting better. He was neutered as a puppy and has a puppy brain in an adult body. Unfortunately rescues are now neutering far too young and there are more and more dogs like Cyril about. He is the second dog that was neutered to young I have had, both had problems.
Bonnie is my oldest dog, she is a Collie/Labrador who's back legs were broken in a RTA when she was 6 months old, a rescue got her right and let me have her. After being 2 months in a crate she crazy.
Tilly, Greyhound/Belgian Malinois, another from a pound, came as a foster pup at 20 weeks old and stayed, she is very nervous and terrified of her own shadow, all she has between her ears is stale air.
Dolly came from the same pound as Cyril, Working Cocker/JRT, she is only 10ins high but can jump a 5ft fence, open windows and doors. The pound rehomed her to someone else before me who took her back for trashing the house, I haven't had that problem with her.
Last but not least is Jethro, Saluki Lurcher, he is a foster dog from Lurcher Link and has sight problems, they don't stop him, he keeps up with my other dogs and is in the middle of any mischief.
I have had many problem dogs in the past including aggressive to both other dogs and people and turned them round, some were my own, some were fosters. Two of the worst was Gracie, a Staffy8/Cairn Terrorist who came to me at 12 years old, all she wanted to do was kill every dog she saw including mine and would bite first, never bothered to ask questions, it took me about a year for her to be good with other dogs and people. She lived until she was 17.5 years old.
Bertie was another, he was in danger of being pts because of his aggression with people, several had to go to hospital because he bit them so badly. Bertie was a JRT/Maltese and gorgeous to look at. I put a house lead on him and never had any problems, he never got his own way but did learn to trust me.

Re: Hello
Thank you for the welcome, I should have mention my Staffy girl who is now at the Rainbow Bridge, another rescue who came for 10 days and stayed. Ellie had breathing problems caused by the soft pallet being to long, common with Staffies. My darling girl had to have a tracheotomy in, at last she could breath properly, run as much as she wanted and play, she hadn't been able to do this before. She was suffacating so the vets didn't have a choice, it was the best thing I every did.
This is my darling girl, you can see were the tracheotomy is..
