Re: Suki's Sunday
That's Rex he's a Great Dane and still only 7 months old. Suki is one of the only dogs that he can actually play with.

Cracking shots J, he is a bit of a giant isn't he, he's probably bigger than me.

Re: Suki's Sunday
Always makes me chuckle when I think of great dane owners on a forum with "Help my dog jumps up at people" my response would be to duck tape some foam to the back of everyones head then when you are flat on your back roll onto your front to turn away and show your displeasure.

He's pretty good about not jumping up but he is going to be massive. I can't wait to see how she does when he is full grown

Just curious jstaff, I see all the dogs are either leashed or on long lines. Is it compulsory?

Yeah they are supposed to be on lead since it's a public park.

Just a bit. He's never tried that one before and Suki gave him a good telling off.

great action shots, really impressed with suki, lovely dog, just as a matter of interest, does suki respond to both japanese and english commands, we have a friend who rescued spanish dogs, they learnt to respond to both languages, it was fascinating to watch.

She just understands Japanese. The only English words she knows are food and sit.

They are all so great!
Do you think the China rule will creep into Japan? I know Japan is more dog friendly, but you know how countries copy each other..

I'm not sure what the China rule is. Dogs are very popular here though so I doubt it.

I don't think that will ever happen here. They really aren't that common here and everyone is a responsible handler. There's no negative sterotype either. Most people don't even know what kind of dog Suki is.

Re: Suki's Sunday
Looks like a great day! I like Great Danes but they really are gentle giants when they grow up. My sister has one and the biggest two problems are 1. they think they are lap dogs. 2. They don't have a very long life.

Re: Suki's Sunday
Brilliant pics, I can imagine the dogs have an excellent time there that Great Dane is huuuuge already. I'm only 5 foot, I can't imagine what would happen to me if I owned one
