Going out at night Empty Going out at night

I think Milly is scared of the dark when we take her out in the day she is fine but when we go for her night walk she hangs back when we are going and jumps at your legs, but when she knows we are coming home she pulls like mad. Any suggestions because she walks really nice in the day and I don't want to spoil it.

Moo pulls me home in the evening but thats generally cause I'm dragging her out after she's been asleep on the sofa for a while!

I guess Milly's not used to night walks yet and will be fine with them when she gets used to it Sad

there's more distractions on a night, car head lights, they rely on there noses more so are often more sensitive to things at night, i used to take Samson near the busy road and just let him sit and watch to desensitize him to the car lights and he's a lot better now

I take her out for morning toilets then its straight back to bed for snuggles, usually her on her back, all fours in the air, for at least an hour! Its the highlight of my week (sadly!)

Bruiser is terrified of the noise of cars, in fact when we walk him he is fine until we walk up a street where a few cars go past at once, he tries to hind behind me......especially at night time. i try to carry on walking as normal to hope he snaps out of it, but i will try your approach of having him sit and get used to them, thanks Big Grin
