bad leg?
Sorry to be a pain again, just thought I'd get some opinions... About half hour ago Bulley tried jumping on Sofa, but started badly yelping I pressed his body to try find problem and found its his front leg that's causing him pain, however he's ok when he walks and can walk on it fine without pain, only when he attempts to jump or if you press his leg, shall I take him vets tomorrow or is he ok if its not causing pain when he walks?, thanks in advance. :-)

Re: bad leg?
TBH if you take him to the vets all they will do is give an anti-inflam injection and tell you to rest him for a bit then charge £30, I personally would keep him on low level exersize and it should calm in a few days

That's what I'm hoping, really is costing a fortune in the vets lately :-(

Re: bad leg?
I agree with Janey they will just give you anti inflams and charge £30 HOWEVER having a bit of knee trouble myself at the moment (i have twisted it and sprained my lateral colateral ligament and anterior circiate ligament) and anti inflams really helped me today, also the nurse said movement helps ease the pain more.
I know its not the same because obviously human and dog anatomy is different, but with bulls aggression issues, i think having him in as little pain as possible is the best solution - which means a trip to the vets.

Re: bad leg?
I'm with Janey on this one. If it isn't swollen or causing him to limp it isn't likely serious. Just try to let him rest it a few days.

Re: bad leg?
Might be worth considering some glucosamine based supplements now as well. Any injury is open later to arthritis and if you start now it will set him up nicely for the strains of later life.

Agree.
Also, you should call the vet and see what they advise. He has obv done serious damage to his leg. He may tell you its safe to give him some pain relief to ease it until the surgery is open.
