heyyy there!
im Clare. I wont bore you with a detailed story about myself Smile
I grew up with staffies but when sheba had to be put down due to old age and illness i refused to get another dog. (i was 18)
me and my partner have taken a staffy in as ours because our friend was given her when her previous owners decided they didnt want her anymore (their loss, our gain!)
however we have no papers or anything for her and im not entirely convinced she is a full staffy as we were told.
we've had her for about 4 months now, nothing has changed but she's suddenly started peeing on the floor in the kitchen. same spot and i clean it with a bioloigal solution everyday. she goes out at midnight and again at 7:30 in the morning but this peeing needs to stop!

any help on determining if Tia is a full staffy and tips on the pee situation would be greatly appreciated!

Hello and welcome from me and the kids Smile

Why are you concerned about her being a full staffy or not ??

Have you had her checked over at the vets regasrding the peeing , maybe she has an infection ??

Anything else changed recently that might have an impact on her bahaviour ??

It would help us a lot in our diagnosis if you posted lots and lots of pictures, we like pictures on here and oops you've got me I was just trying to con you into posting pictures. Sorry did I mention the p word again ??

im not really concerened about her being a full staffy im just curious. either way i love her and shes my third little girl (although theres times i prefer her to the actual kids)
i took her to the vets last week and she doesnt have an infection or anything. i was thinking its because of the cat but we've had the cat the same amount of time (another animal we couldnt let go to a rescue centre..)

Welcome too the forum from myself n the gang.

Shes a beauty.

as fpr the peeing situation, is it only in one place? if not and if its not infection then maybe you will have too go back too basics with her puppy trainning. x

Hi and welcome to the forum from Rocky and me.

With regard to the peeing on the floor clean the area with washing detergent. Do not tell her off for doing it just clean it up and carry on as if it hasn't happened. Try going back to basics with her, take her outside every half hour and give lots of praise when she does go outside.

Welcome. To me she looks full staff but without any papers it's impossible to tell...she could be 1/2 or 3/4 staff. Just stick to calling her a staff, as staff x can raise eyes (and she looks like she can pass for a full staff to those who don't know better lol)

i also am havin this problem wit Smokey my four year old...
only difference is she has had a litter of 11 3 weeks ago so i gotta leave a constant supply of food and certainly plenty of water out for her,she is in my sittin room wit all her pups and thats fine, everythin is grand until every 2nd or 3rd mornin i come down to a river in my sittin room and a no.2 (to be polite about it) all over d sittin room floor, smokey is my number 1 and is trained to me 10 times more so than d rest as iv had her d longest,iv given her grace cos of her litter but its gettin to be a nuiesence now wakin up to that mess and stomach turnin cleaning it,but im thinkin wit been readin this topic shud i revert back to basic training wit her...i leave d front door open all day she has d run of d house durin d day but i cant at night, i leave her out jus before i go to bed myself,i jus cant understand why she is doing this as she is so trained every1 says all she is short of doing is talkin Smile if only Smile
