Lola bit another dog :'(
Hi all, for 5 weeks now Lola has been going to doggy day care while I've been at work ans she's been fine!
Until today, she was dropped off and I was told her bit another dog on the chin :'(
I've never had a problem with her, I don't understand why she went for him.
She fell and scraped her face & leg about a week ago so maybe he was sniffing her face??

Re: Lola bit another dog :'(
Were you given any information on the circumstances? What exactly did they say happened?

No the guy said he turned his back and then when he looked back they were going at each other and Oscar the lab has a gash on his chin
Re: Lola bit another dog :'(
So they don't know which dog started it or what started it. It could well have been Oscar who started it and he got hurt when Lola defended herself. I would reserve judgement since you don't know what happened and just ask them to keep a close eye on them both to see if anything kicks off again. Hopefully if it happens again, they'll be there to see what happens. I hope Lola is ok.

Re: Lola bit another dog :'(
Lola fell and grazed her face and knee the other day, maybe Oscar got to close and she just snapped.
Its just they've been together pretty much every for 5 weeks and nothings ever happened!
We'll try again tomorrow and if it happens again I'll find something else for her.
She had her booster on Tuesday and is about 2 months away from her next season.
Thanks for the reply! xxx

Agree it's hard to know what to think or do if you aren't really sure what happened.
