Re: getting a new car
Wow very post Hayley, does it have Air Con?
My last car was a black 206, bugger for scratches though you can see every mark on it. Ended up having to sell it though when I was made redundant, couldn't afford to keep it, very sad

Re: getting a new car
it will have aircon good cars but be aware with being part of the bmw group very expensive when go wrong and they have a monopoly on spare parts so no cheap alternatives just original equipment

dont worry hayley MINI is a manufacturer in there own right only owned by BMW
SERIOUS HEAD ON HERE LOL
it all comes down to how long you keep your cars ???????
you may know someone that good at fixing cars(but parts will never be cheap)
running costs road tax insurance and petrol costs will be a lot higher than ford KA
are you getting good length warinty????

Re: getting a new car
only 6 months, but i hope to get another 50k miles out of it, and i have seen one for sale that has 127k miles on it and still going, but i wouldnt buy anything over 100k. i haredly drive and mine is only 51k in 6 years so im not going to be harsh to it. my uncles a mechanic and i had him call a few people and they have all said by the sounds of it it is an okay deal but to offer 300 less than he is askin

Dad, who is the one who was trying to push through with it, has changed his mind and minis are now the devil and he won't get it. So keeping the bloody ka it seems.

Re: getting a new car
no, someone said they can be petrol guzzlers, but i mean i am NEVER going to get a car as cheap to run as the ka, unless i get a fiat 500 which i dont want.

funny enough a ford ka not that good on petrol as you would think infact no ford is so you may not notice that much of a differance if you bstick to driving at less than 4000 revs the mini will return desent miles to the gallon

Re: getting a new car
The mileage is good, less than 10,000 a year not too bad at all.
Do you have a quote for the insurance yet ?
