lawn care/green um's
hi all - has anyone tried this:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Green-Lawn-Care-Tablets-Dogs/dp/B005BADWSG/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1344264213&sr=8-2-fkmr0
it's these tablets for the dog so your lawn isn't all brown where she pees. gets good reviews, but want opinions of you all if you've tried it please
Also, there is a Miracle Grow product, does that work?
Thanks!

Re: lawn care/green um's
Sorry but we have a concrete garden so no grass to look at all apart from at the park of course.

Re: lawn care/green um's
Today I had 31 square metres of synthetic lawn put down.
No more brown or bare patches

Re: lawn care/green um's
I haven't had a bitch for about 20 years, so I can't say what the products are like. Even then I never bothered, I wasn't mithered one way or another if there were brown patches on the grass!

Re: lawn care/green um's
We have had so much rain that it would be completely pointless. Didn't really bother in summer either. Besides, both my dogs think they are cows, judging by the amount of grass they pull out and eat
I suppose, if it isn't too expensive that it would be worth a try

Re: lawn care/green um's
thanks all
it's not our grass is the thing - we rent so we have to keep it fairly well. we can always re-seed or put down new grass I guess if/when we move from this house. otherwise, if we owned, i probably wouldn't mind so much either.
it's not too expensive to try - i just worry that it might take care of the acidity of her urine but mess up her liver/kidneys. not worth it if that's the case.
might call the vet and see what they think of it before trying.
thanks again!
