Hi from Sydney, Aus.
Hi all, I stumbled across this forum a while ago and love how you guys run things so thought I'd join!
I just received my first staffy last week, also my first pup I'm raising on my own. I'm currently studying dog training, and I thought I was doing pretty well until I got this little terror lol! His morning cuddles make it all worth it though. I've worked with a lot of staffies at boarding kennels through my practical study and have seen just how amazing the breed can be, hopefully I get through these first few weeks in one piece
Anyway, here are some pics of the little fella. His name is Duke, currently 9 weeks old.
Not tired at all.....

Re: Hi from Sydney, Aus.
Thanks for the warm welcomes!
To cut a long story short, it started as a hobby helping out my cousins with their bullmastiff x which was left to them after a loss in the family. A few months later I got made redundant at work and received a nice pay out, and after trying out another job in the same field I decided it was time for a change as I wasn't enjoying office life at all any more. What better time to take dog training to the next level with funds to keep me going until I was on my feet. After a bit of research I found a course in companion animal care and training starting conveniently around this time, and it's gone from there!
Here's a pic of Rosie, who still needs work but is doing a lot better now

Hi & welcome.
That's one cute pup!
What sort of course are you doing? Is it behaviour or just training?

It's a bit of a mix, reading body language to diagnose problems and such but mainly training at the moment.
