Globe trotters from South Africa
Hi Everyone,
Arrived in the United Kingdom with my two beloved hooligans in tow, Jex (a brindle female) and Blaze (a tan and white male), two weeks ago. Arrived to suberb weather and lovely country walks. Any advice about the staffs using public transport would be most welcome!
Kind Regards
Grant, Louise, Jex and Blaze

Re: Globe trotters from South Africa
Hi & welcome. Have you moved to the UK permanently or just on a visit?
The rules for dogs on busses/trains vary from company to company. Generally, trains are ok as long as your dog(s) are under control & friendly. Busses are slightly different. Round here, the rule is only one dog allowed on the bus at any one time, although it's at the drivers' discretion. Some other companies will allow any number as long as they're well behaved.
Check with your local bus company, or just ask a driver - most of them should know the rules!

Re: Globe trotters from South Africa
Hi, thank you for the welcome. My wife is British, so we have moved out here indefinately (at least thats what my wife says ) Thanks for the advice about the public transport. Seems the trains are the way to go, better to avoid the bus services. Heard of some real horror stories on the buses. Guess it really does come down to the drivers discretion and how full the bus is-fair enough! Finally figured out how to post pictures, so here are the "Mug Shots" of my very precious children!!!!

Nice dogs!
Is Blaze a blue fawn? Looks like there are shades of blue throughout his coat, or is it just the pic?

Wow, nice pick up there. Yes, he has the most unusal blue flecks running through his coat. His tail is completely black on the upper surface and the lower surface is brown. Looks like his tail was dipped into a pot of black paint. These flecks extent up onto his head and form a very interesting outline around his eyes. Almost looks like a skull cap. He is rather small in stature for a male, but makes up with it in AWESOMENESS!!

Hi and welcome to the forum from Tyson & me. Would love to know Blaze's lineage as Tyson has the same outline over his eyes and it also looks like a skull cap. Reminds me of the Phantom. They could be twins!

Hi again Lynne,
Tyson looks just stunning! I am suprised to see the same sort of markings, I just love it, it really accentuates their facial expressions!. I pulled Blaze' lineage out and is as follows:
Sire: CH Sylon Saphookka Bullet of Sivhana (Broxton Ginger and Sylon Royal Flush)
Dame: Cassini Natasja (Chassuki Uptown Terror and Niekita of Cassini)

The markings are quite remarkable. We may need to go back in the lines. I got him from a breeder in KZN. Are you from there by any chance?

Re: Globe trotters from South Africa
Hi Lynne,
Fuuny you should ask about KZN, I've lived in JHB and moved to Durban several years ago. I spoke to Charmaine and Debbie Outsman from KZN about getting a puppy from them. Unfortunately the waiting list was extremely long. Luckily both Debbie and Charmaine put me onto Lourens from Germiston and I managed to get a pup off his Sire Bullet. A really beautiful red, which was mated with a Champion red from Pretoria. Will be happy to scan Blaze' papers to you, iif you'd like to take a look
