A month in jail - rediculous. Cruelty to animals and the punishment given never fit the severity of the cruelty. The law still see animals as secondary, which is sad.

Maybe someone should bury them for a bit and see how they like it. People like that should have a lifetime ban on keeping animals.

Janey you don't want to read it. I did earlier this morning and wished I hadn't I don't know how people can be so sick and the law doesn't do enough about it

My god, I so wished I hadn't read this , 6 months is a joke and we should be talking life sentences for people like this but we will never get that as animals obviously aren't as important to the judicial system as they are to us. I may be out of turn but I seriously hope they get dealt some real punishment when they are released, I'd love to be at the front of the queue

absolutely heartless , there is no need for it and as said before the sentence was not long enough
