Yay!
Tyson is down 1KG in weight since being 'on diet'. He has been on Hills Science Diet restricted Calorie but I am changing him to a Calorie restricted food with a higher, better quality protein next week. Also just replaced his organic treat biscuits to low calorie ones. Maybe I should diet with him

Re: Yay!
Dempsey's still on a diet as well - he's lost 3 kilos & I want him to lose at least one more.

Re: Yay!
Well done Ty
@ Lynne - I don't know if you heard about this food or not, but a guy breeding Bull Terriers had new food developed at Stellebosh University. He had 16 dogs all with different diet requirements, and the cost became too much. It is called Lusahn, not yet available in stores or vets, but there are suppliers in all provinces. You feed according to expected adult weight and not on current weight. It has a 20% better absorption rate than Hills, and it is now being promoted at Shows etc. Within 3 weeks of Maska being on it, I could see a vast improvement, and his coat is shiny. Made with ostrich, with no additives or "fillers".

Re: Yay!
Wow, Well done Lynne that's a great acheivement. Ostrich meat would be excellent if trying to lose weight as it has vertually no fat. Can you get hold of it OK there?

Would you know of a supplier up here? I am certainly not happy with Hills now I have researched what is in it. Was also looking at Earthborn as well.

Re: Yay!
Lynne, I will get you the name and number of a supplier up there. They will also be able to give you the info on the food.
