I totally agree with you. I think all sports should have a salary cap - some of the amounts thrown around are obscene!

I'm okay with the salaries even though they are obscene. I just want all the teams to have an equal chance to win. The Yankess spend over 200 million a year and the Royals spend like 25 percent of that. All the talent ends up on like 5 teams regardless of where they are devolped.

Yes, and that's the problem - all sports have those teams that can throw money around like water. Of course players are going to be lured by the money, but if all sports salaries were capped, players would actually be able to choose the team they wanted rather than the money they wanted!

That's why I like the NFL so much it's a level playing field. You spend too much on one player than other positions suffer.
