First night Empty First night

Well brought Skye home and she's been great,peed on paper twice and had a poo on it too, played with kids for an hour and is now sleeping on floor.not looking forward to putting her in her crate on her own coz she crys when we leave the room.but it's for the best I suppose,fallen in love with her already!!! Love Struck

Good luck on the first night. A blanket over the crate and a radio playing softly will help her settle.

I was going to leave her in her crate in the kitchen on her own but now I'm not to sure I know it's probably the best in the long run,but she's upset when we leave her....help??? Will post pics tomorrow

It's best to leave the crate where it will remain from the start. She is going to whine for attention but if you give it to her she wil think she will get attention every time she does this. The first few nights are always hard.

Can't wait to see pics of her. Its horrible trying to ignore the crying the first few nights but they do learn routine quite quickly and soon settle.

First night wasn't too bad,left her in her crate,although she kept waking up and. Crying she wasn't that bad,she doesn't seem too be eating or drinking to much tho and is sleeping a lot,this normal??

Sleeping alot is very much normal. Eating and drinking very little can be due to anxiety from being in a new enviroment. If it continues for more than a couple of days or if she is refusing water entirely you should consult a vet.
