First time owner
Hi,
I'll be collecting my wee bundle in about seven week's and just wondering what kind of things i will need. I've had dogs when i lived at mums, but this is my first time having my own pup since i have lived on my own..
Any advice would be greatly appreciated..

Re: First time owner
I really like the name Pascal for a stafford! Can't really add much to Kathy's propsed shopping list. Just remember they grow so quickly so don't spend a fortune on expensive collars and harnesses and coats. Because they won't last long!
What are you going to be feeding him? Have you thought about where he's going to sleep and how you going to handle the first night away from his mum and siblings? You really should start as you mean to go on, they quickly learn how to get what they want!

I have no idea what i'm going to feed him. I'm like a blank canvas at the minute. That's why i've joined here to find out what's my best course of action..

Just to add to the above: loads of kitchen roll, and an endless supply of patience!

start collecting newspapers
some kneepads

We got a little blankey from the breeder with mum and siblings scent on to leave in his crate for a few nights to settle him a little , also I've read on here a ticking clock in the crate . Or possibly a small radio turned down low for the night time (outside the crate)
