Maggie, Staffie, DOB 26.05.04 - Gatwick
Homing requirements: Maggie needs a companionship family, can be left for short periods but needs building up, she does settle. Maggie is not for crates. Proven with young children and dogs. Could live with a dog friendly cat(s).
Her Story: Owned since a puppy, the owner has had some life changes which have meant that Maggie has being left and is seldom walked. Maggie grew up with a baby and has always mixed with children. Maggie lost her home due to not coping with changes in her routine. Maggie enjoys weekend foster with 2 cats. Neutered, chipped and vax'd.
Advert: Maggie is an all round little Staffie girl. Her weekend fosterers said: "We had such a fantastic weekend with Maggie. She enjoyed visiting my dad in Seaford- she was very friendly meeting new people and jumped onto his lap for kisses straight away! She had so much fun playing fetch with the tennis ball and always gave it back gently. She enjoyed a scrumptious lamb bone and then we went to the beach. When you walk her you barely know she is there; she never pulls, she just checks every now and then that you are there still!! She has an endearing personality and a wonderful temperament."
Maggie is what we call a 'Lickle' Brindle Staffie. She is now 8 years old and in her middle years which makes for a gentle responsive energy and a joy to walk. Sweet and matured. She knows her commands with good recall. Weekend foster has helped Maggie adjust. She can be a little stand offish with dogs outside. She makes friends with dogs and cats. A very endearing soul who is destined to be someone's close companion.

Have to say, after looking through Maggie's thread, Maggie always looks happiest when she is with Becca (one of our volunteers), either being walked or in foster.
A few pics from Saturday ...
Maggie need a long term foster place until her forever home is found so she can smile again!
