what our vet said
well sash had her visit to the vets this eve about her tooth and its got to come out ,he has given her anti biotics and anti inflamatries to get the swelling down and get rid of the infection before he pulls it out next week.i've got to take her in next wednesday morning and leave her there till the afternoon .he gently touched the tooth and she did flinch so he said her being a staff it must hurt a lot and that she was being brave by not showing it he told me to go and buy some infant capol for her pain relief ,i asked if id heard him right(me being blonde,i often get things wrong )but no he said paracetamol was ok for dogs but deadly for cats!!well i gave her some when we got home and she spat it out ,then started chomping on her stag bar

Re: what our vet said
Paracetamol is ok for dogs as long as it's been prescribed by a vet, and under veterinary supervision.
Shame it's got to come out, but it'll be better in the long run. It must be very painful for her.

Aww poor sasha, at least she will feel much more comfortable afterwards. Bless her, she will be a bit cold and shakey after the anesthetic so take her a blankie and be prepared to give her lots of cuddles and love
