Off to the vet.
Tyson is going to the vets this afternoon. He has something like a popped blister between his pads on one paw. I have been cleaning the area daily with salt water and applying iodine ointment but it is not improving (since he licks it all off).

Re: Off to the vet.
Ok so the boy has a lesion between the pads on his left paw. He also has a cyst between his toes. Whic I have to admit I missed. He got an antibiotic shot and has tablets for the next 10 days. Dr Pete says the boy is definitely over weight which may be contributing to the cysts. His diet actually started this weekend. He weighed in at 24.5kg and Pete recons he should be closer to 18. I disagree given Tyson's size. He is a solid build and very muscular under the fate. Any thoughts?

Re: Off to the vet.
Our vet says Tilly is over weight at 18kg and wants to lose a couple of kg off her. Ty looks really well on the pghoto's I've seen , has he still got his waist defined and can you see his last couple of ribs ??? (you can't with Tilly )

Re: Off to the vet.
You should be able to feel a couple of ribs but not to see them.
We thought Rocky had lost a bit of weight recently but when he was weighed he is about the same. I think he is a bit slimmer and has added a little muscle.

Re: Off to the vet.
I would've thought Ty would look a a bit emmaciated at 18kilos?
Maybe 24 is a bit heavy, but I wouldn't have thought he should be losing 6 kilos.

Hope Ty heals quickly. I think if you simply replace the high calorie treats with vegetables and an extra 5-10 minute on his walks the weight will take care of itself. He definately doesn't need to lose 6kg though

Hope Ty is back to normal soon
I would also have to say there is no chance Ty needs to lose 6Kg, thats just a silly amount

Poor Ty, hope he's feeling all better soon. I think losing 6kg is a bit much.
