To get another or not?

Hi Everyone
My friend is moving out and taking her Chihuahua(Nate) with her who is my almost 2 yo Staffy Laila's best friend, they do everything together. Nate protects her from everything always looking out for her. I have a feeling Laila may get depressed once Nate is gone, I know I'll miss the little bugger! I work 3 days a week for 12 hours so I dont know whether to get Laila a new friend.
Any thoughts would be great.

At the age she is now i think yes it would be nice. Would you consider a rescue? how is she with other dogs apart from nate?

She has had a lot of time around other dogs and never had a problem. A rescue dog could be an idea.

Its entirely up to you of course, but i'm sure you know the effort that needs into a puppy. And a puppy couldn't be left for 12hrs alone.

I think a rescue boy would be an excellent idea!

I would have to go for the rescue idea too. as soon as we have more room with a larger garden we would love to have a girlfriend for Rocky.
