Re: if you could have 2rd home
For me it would be in a village on the Mozambique coast (Tofu Beach). Just a little housie with a large varandah where everyone could congregate for sundowners and long, leisurely afternoons and evenings with lots of good food (fresh fish caught daily), gallons of wine and 2M beer. All of this is no go if I have no internet!

Re: if you could have 2rd home
I'd like a large cabin with a log fire in open woodland (don't care where as long as they speak english & leave me alone!). I'd be on my own (human-wise) with a couple of dogs & a large paddock with a stable. In that I'd have a horse & a donkey.
It would have to have the fastest internet as well.

I would love to have a log cabin on a small island off the western coast of Scotland, beside a lake and with a huge open fire I could sit in front of and cuddles up with my hubby and Rocky and of course.

Re: if you could have 2rd home
I like my 2nd home to be in the middle of Bargin Booze. Then at night I could go for a nice walk in my garden and pick booze.

We didn't do too bad , we bought a brand new one and lost about 6K over 3 years but only cos we wanted to sell it quick whilst it was still summer to keep the interest and that included the cost of all the extras we let go with it. But generally they don't lose money like cars. I liked it but the OH didnt ... so it went , no point in half a holiday

Me too , and I can remember sleeping in them every year on holiday , nearly got my eyes burn out when the shade on the gas wall light exploded seconds after me getting off the bed , still remember the burns in the sleeping bag where my face had been

You can take the caravan out of the seaside, but when Hayley is around you can't keep the seaside out of the caravan
