Peaks Island and a Temporary Pet

Today we both had the day off and it was 91F (32C) so we decided to take a trip to Peaks Island! Yay!

We took the fairy out to the island and it was lovely:

We stopped for some water and a photograph:

After a couple of hours lounging on the beach we went for a walk in the woods:

Then we went back to the mainland where I found a little furry baby seagull baking in the middle of the sidewalk! Naturally, I named him Steven Seagull and brought him home. So he's staying with us for the night and will be headed to the Maine Wildlife Center in the morning! He is adorable! Smile

Wow great shots there Cat, that's the kind of day off someone could get used to.

I love Saxons collat and lead looks really smart.
