Roger Clemens is not guilty

I'm happy for him whether or not he used steroids he should never of been forced to testify before Congress and to get charged with perjury is just sad.

I think the whole baseball steroids problem has let the sport down badly. I think Clemens probably did take steroids, but like you I don't think he should have been forced to testify.

I think he did as well but that should be left to MLB and not an issue that Congres should get involved in.

Yes, it's ludicrous. Whether or not he took steroids, he'd already retired when the sh1t hit the fan. He should have been left out of it.

He was a professional baseball player. There was a time a few years ago that it became public knowledge that some of the players were using performance enhancing drugs (PED). The players union had an agreement with the league that had outlawed drugs tests at the time. The agreement is now different and drug tests are common

Then Congress decided to do an investigation and subpenaed a number of players to testify. He said he had never used PEDs when asked so he was charged with a crime. He was never tested so there is no scientific evidence that he did take PED. Just testimony from his former trainer and hearsay.

How silly.

At least he isn't guilty. Even if he probably did lol
